I have been involved in the fitness industry for over 18 years. Started my career of as a basketball coach before moving into the gym environment. My main focus of functional Training is to restore proper restoration into human movement, which is often ignored when it comes to traditional workouts. When you’re lifting all sorts of heavy objects, you’re often doing it in one plane of movement, which can put a strain on parts of the body on a regular basis – which can result in injury.

Having played football from a young age, with spells at Bournemouth and Portsmouth football clubs. I have a keen interest in the health and fitness industry. With over 15 years experience as a personal trainer, I have come to realise that lifestyle change is key to achieving long-term progression and enjoy sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with my clients. My specialist areas are sports performance and body transformation. I work with varied clients of ability and age. So whatever your level or goals I will work with you to achieve them.

My passion for fitness probably stemmed from my 9-year career in the British Army. This then led me onto to do a degree in Sport Science. I graduated from university with a first-class honours Degree!

I’ve been in and around fitness my whole adult life. I love the fitness industry and love my job. I have a real passion in helping others! My passion for fitness probably stemmed from my 9-year career in the British Army. This then led me onto to do a degree in Sport Science. I graduated from university with a first-class honours Degree!

I have experience with training elite athletes in Women’s Football, providing fitness sessions for a female Netball Team, elite Sailing team at youth level and providing fitness tests for Southampton FC’s under 23’s. My time in university I managed to design and implement my own Goalkeeper agility test that was used at an elite level. Finally, my name is on a published article, which is physiology based. My experience gives me all the tools as a Personal Trainer needed to guide you along your fitness journey, regardless of age, gender or fitness ability.

On the rare occasion my life doesn’t revolve around fitness I follow different sports, but mainly my beloved Liverpool Football Club (Don’t let that put you off).

My extensive experience and qualifications give me all the tools needed to successfully help you hit your goals. But it’s my passion and love for my job that I believe makes me the right personal trainer for you!
